Advisory Committee

Our Advisory Committee aims to uphold Basically Wonderful’s mission & values by supporting the creation of intentional peer-led spaces and actions. We are dedicated to filling gaps in the community through advocacy and outreach, collaboration with value-aligned initiatives, and celebrating intersectional solidarity within LGBTQIA+ and Disability spaces. We are a collective of volunteers bringing our lived experiences, areas of expertise, skills, and passions to a committee focused on expanding the support networks for Queer, Trans, & Disabled folks in Central Florida and beyond. 

The Advisory Committee currently meets monthly on first Thursdays at 3pm EST. Attendance is never required, but greatly encouraged as often as you can. You do not have to be local to Orlando to be on this committee, as all meetings are virtual.
